Methamphetamine

In Illinois there is a law named the Methamphetamine Control and Community Protection Act which prohibits the possession, the possession with the intent to deliver, and the delivery of Methamphetamine, certain precursors and other materials used in the production of Methamphetamine. There are various consequences and penalties for different levels and severity of violations of the Act based on quantity or the intent to deliver, or where the substance was delivered, or if the substance can be proved to come from another state. There are also federal laws that prohibit similar conduct as prohibited in Illinois.
